Swastika Found Painted On Aldersgate United Methodist Church In Juneau, Alaska; No Evidence Of Any So-Called "White Supremacist" Activity

The Juneau Empire reports that the Aldersgate United Methodist Church was the target of vandalism early on Tuesday December 6th, 2011. A three-foot high swastika was painted on the church building’s white garage door, the number “420” was painted on the side of the garage, and the numbers “666” were painted on the church’s front door as well as on plastic sign out near the church’s entrance. The latter two numbers commonly refer to the Mark of the Beast in the Bible, and marijuana use. No other churches were targeted, and the church has been tagged by vandals on several other occasions during its 25-year history. Because of the variety of symbols involved, it's not being treated as a possible hate crime.

Undoubtedly, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and the Anti-Defamation League will be looking for an excuse to exploit this situation and sound the "white supremacist" alarm in order to further promote their self-perpetuation. However, Keith Pahlke, chairman of Aldergate’s board of trustees, dismisses the notion, saying that the vandals were just painting whatever they thought would shock people the most. The church quickly removed the graffitti; because of the wet weather, all it took to remove the spray paint was a little paint thinner and elbow grease. Rev. Susan Beogli, who just became pastor of the church in July 2011, was impressed by how much the local community have been calling her, reaching out to express their sympathy. Her message to the vandals: “Next time you’re in the vicinity, come in. Our logo is open hearts, open minds and open doors, come in.”

My message to the vandals would be to put a scrub brush and bucket into their hands and tell them to start busting their knuckles cleaning off graffitti.

Although the SPLC has a penchant for waving their magic rhetorical wand and transforming an innocent P.O. Box into a virulent Klan unit, at least they're intellectually honest enough to admit that there are no official "hate groups" in the state of Alaska. And this is actually impressive, considering that the SPLC has expanded their definition of "hate group" to include nativists, patriots, militia groups, pro-life advocates, pro-family advocates, and even immigration reform advocates like ALIPAC. But what the SPLC won't tell you, because they have no vested interest in doing so, is that there are many leaders and pundits within the White racialist community who have condemned so-called "white racial activists" who commit crimes in the name of "racial advocacy". Specifically, the marginalization of the White Nationalist movement by the reigning taboos attracts kooks, misfits, sociopaths and exhibitionists who wouldn’t fit into any society, whether it be a White ethnostate, Barack Obama’s multicultural utopia, or the White Republic of the Founding Fathers.

There are con-artists and rent-seeking charlatans who trying to make a living for themselves off the gullibility and desperation of alienated people.

There are intellectuals who are drunk on ideological kool-aid like their counterparts on the Left who believe in “the brotherhood of man.” These people are in love with some type of abstraction. No existing community can ever measure up to their high standards.

They are not motivated by any sentimental attachment to any peculiar people or place and go absolutely out of their way to let that fact be known to others.

There are hotheads and net nazis who are just blowing off steam on the internet.

There are fantasists and time wasters who are here primarily to entertain themselves.

There are hateful people who just plainly dislike other groups.

There are prophets of doom and an endless supply of disagreeable curmudgeons.

There are other people in the White Nationalist movement who are here just because they are looking for some type of social acceptance.

More recently, in the ANP Report for September 29th, 2011, American Nazi Party Chairman Rocky Suhayda delivered an even more explicit condemnation:

The first was a "special" that depicted a guy who had a big Swastika TATTOOED on the back of his shaved head, who was shot and killed by his ten-year old son, for abuse of him and his mother. The other was a national news story of another member of this so-called "nsm" that was given a lengthy jail term for making "pipe-bombs”, which he never used.

Comrades, WHY do I bring this garbage up? Yes, I KNOW that unfortunately in this "bowel-movement" this kind of nonsense happens all too often. I understand that UNLIKE the ANP, 99.9% of these orgs out there have NO standards of QUALITY CONTROL over "WHO" or "WHAT" they allow in their ranks. I also realize that SOME of these idiotic creatures shouting "six million more!" and the like actually REVEL in such "publicity". It’s simply that AFTER one of these "pieces" are broadcast - WE, the ANP - are inundated by "hate-mail" from people who think that it was US portrayed, or even WORSE - we are contacted by rambling morons who actually LIKE what they saw!

Soooo, I am here to "CLEAR the AIR". NO! The American Nazi Party DOES NOT, nor EVER WILL - INVITE the ENEMY into OUR MEETINGS, nor OUR HOMES, nor PUT OUR ADHERENTS ON DISPLAY for the ENEMY to FILM and RECORD. In my mind, any "LEADER" who would ever ALLOW such things to occur is a MORON and or a TRAITOR to the people he supposedly "leads"...

The SPLC operates out of a political bias against the right rather than out of any legitimate concern about extremism. Don't just swallow the kool-aid -- get the whole story before making a judgment.
