Apartheid is coming full circle in South Africa. The National Vanguard website has posted the following article on a group of South African whites called "Boervolk", who are attempting through the legal process to secure a portion of South Africa as a white homeland. On the Stop Boer Genocide website, the Boervolk explain the differences between themselves and ordinary "Afrikaners" or "Afrikaans speakers":
The Boer nation came into existence through the merging of people from different
nations such as the Dutch, German and French. When the British came onto the
scene at the beginning of the nineteenth century the Boer nation was already in
existence. After the establishment of the Boer Republics, after the 'Great
Trek', the Boers were internationally recognized as a nation due to the
fulfilling of the general requirements of nationalism such as known origin of
descent, their own language, their own culture and traditions, and a history
formed by common group experiences.

Synopsis: HISTORY IS UNDERWAY in South Africa once again, as the Boere, an indigenous White ethnic nation in their own right, declare their sovereignty and push for a separate homeland within the country that saw blacks legally disband the Apartheid system twelve years ago. Dr. Lets Pretorius, spokesman for the Boer nation (Boerevolk), and Mr. Riaan Smith, an attorney, met with met with Adv. Cetswayo and Mr. L.H. Mapholaba from the office of the Speaker of the South African Parliament on May 25th to discuss the Majuba Declaration, the Boervolk's formal demand for an independent homeland. The Cape Town meeting was organized by the Boerevolk Freedom Foundation, which is driving the push for self-determination.
The following statements were put forward during the meeting:
1. The Boerevolk is a definite entity and must be recognized as such.
2. There is a distinct difference between a Boer and an Afrikaner.
3. The Majuba Declaration is legally sound, based on section 235 of the Constitution of South Africa.
Mr. Smith and Dr. Pretorius then proffered two demands. First, that the Boerevolk Freedom Foundation and the Boerevolk be institutionally recognized. The Foundation will be the formal mouthpiece of the Boerevolk until an election of representatives or deputies of the Boerevolk has been held. Second, a forum be created to discuss related matters and demands of the Boerevolk. It was agreed that this forum will be held by the end of June, and will consist of delegations from both Parliament and the Boerevolk.
The Parliamentary delegation will include the Chairman of the Constitutional Committee; the Minister of Agriculture of Land and Environmental Affairs, to address the Zimbabwe-like land grab currently taking place in South Africa; the Minister of Justice, to address the injustices against the Boerevolk taking place in South Africa's legal system; the Minister of Safety and Security, to address the murders of farmers, and Black-on-Boer crime taking place. The Chairman of Human Rights of Minorities at the United Nations, Mr. Stauffenhagen, has also received the Majuba Declaration. However, except for the South African Broadcasting System (SABC), which has had some limited coverage of Boerevolk affairs, both the Boer's recent efforts for recognition and the Majuba Declaration itself have been given the silent treatment: Not a single source indexed by news.google.com -- which includes all major wire services -- has even mentioned the Boerevolk efforts, except for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). And even the SABC has, so far, frozen out any mention of the Declaration.
Analysis: Two chances of success - slim and none. Why am I so pessimistic? One of the officials mentioned above, the Minister of Safety and Security, Charles Nqakula (a former chairman of the South African Communist Party, pictured at left) was recently reported as telling South African whites who are dissatisfied to either quit complaining or leave the country. Considering how the persecution of Zimbabwean whites began with such statements, the peaceful long-term prospects for South African whites in a black majority government are distinctly not favorable.
And the list of white grievances against the black South African government grows daily. Recently, a group of white South African women staged a march, during which they identified the following laundry list of issues:
1. Our Heavenly Father is being disregarded in every official instance.
2. Violence has become uncontrollable.
3. Our people are being savagely assaulted, raped and murdered.
4. We have to lock ourselves in home-made prisons for our own safety.
5. Our land is being stolen from us.
6. Our children are being exposed to alien religions, history and values.
7. Police and the Courts openly display hostility towards the Boer nation.
8. Our people are being dismissed in the workplace, withheld from promotion and scandalously discriminated against.
9. There is blatant discrimination against Whites when tenders and contracts are awarded in favour of non-whites.
10. Our language is being ignored and disregarded in every way.
11. Our cultural property is being destroyed and violated.
12. Our Boer prisoners are rotting in prison while erstwhile terrorists and criminals go unpunished and are freely walking around.
13. These injustices against our people cry to Heaven.
14. To show proven support for the Majuba Declaration whereby we demand the right to self-determination.
Of course, this is either ignored or suppressed by the mainstream media because the establishment could not tolerate the revelation that another one of their "pet projects" is foundering. They still can't get over the fact that Zimbabwe is toast. The establishment promised us that if South Africa dismantled apartheid and gave itself over to black majority government, they would all be dancing in the streets wearing flowers in their hair and singing "kumbaya". What a bunch of bloody nonsense! South Africa's infrastructure is steadily unraveling. Crime is skyrocketing. More and more whites are falling into poverty. And the number of blacks in poverty has remained unchanged since apartheid days.
And South African whites must acknowledge their responsibility in encouraging so many blacks to come to South Africa. They decided they had to have servants to do their scut work, much like we import Mexicans, Central Americans, and other Third Worlders to do our scut work. South Africa could be America's future unless we wake up.
