More On The "Aztlan" Separatist Movement

Special Note: Post updated on July 22nd to correct superseded photo link (new source for the "This Is Our Continent" photo).

In yesterday's blog post, entitled "Mass Immigration Is Out Of Control", I expounded on four different Aztlan separatist movements; the Mechistas, La Voz de Aztlan, LULAC, and MALDEF. I barely touched on a fifth movement, Mexica-Movement. Because of its extreme demands, it requires separate and more comprehensive treatment.

Mexica-Movement professes non-violence, but one of their main objectives is to get all white people, or people of European ancestry, off the American continent. This exceeds by far the more "moderate" demands of the other four groups, two of which simply want an Aztlan state comprising the U.S. Southwest, and possibly even some of the northern Mexican states. Here are some pictures from their website of their role in this past weekend's demonstrations in L.A

These pictures clearly show the hostile, separatist, and treasonous intent of the hard-core activists in this rally. It's important to differentiate; many of the demonstrators were probably out to have a good time, fellowship with one another, and to assert legitimate and constructive pride in their heritage. However, the extremely inflammatory signs carried by the hard-core activists, along with their stated separatist and even implicitly genocidal goals should give us cause for concern, as it proves what many immigration reform advocates have maintained; that our failure to control our borders and reform immigration allows proto-terrorists and perhaps actual terrorists to sneak in to our country under the protective cover of the majority who are seeking better lives for themselves and their families. Their ability to gin up huge numbers on short notice, as illustrated in the third photo to the left, implies an advanced level of organization and networking.

Back on May 6th, 2002, The New American magazine published an article entitled "Aztlan and Amalgamation" which not only revealed the existence of Aztlan separatist organizations, but described their progress and their end goals. In this article, TNA published a map of how a Republic of Aztlan would look. The concept is the same, regardless of which group proposes it. The American Southwest would be severed from the United States. Some groups want a smaller slice, others the same slice but incorporated into Mexico, while still others want to combine the American Southwest with the northern tier of Mexican states to produce a completely different and independent Republic of Aztlan. Pat Buchanan has been warning us of this development since 1992, but subsequent Presidential adminstrations have paid little attention. Now, when we have so many of our troops scattered all over the world, our Southwest is being invaded by Mexicans who openly talk about the "Reconquista", and we're acquiescing to it without even a shot fired.

This scenario has been envisioned prophetically. In the Book of Mormon, one of the ancient Nephite prophets, Mormon, in 380 A.D., spoke of a day in which we, the Gentiles, would arrive in the Western Hemisphere and colonize the land. In the process, we would drive and scatter the descendants of the Lamanites (Mormons believe that many of the current American Indians have some Lamanite blood in them), until the Lord would remember his covenant with their ancestors. However, Mormon then describes the legacy of this colonization, stating that if we (the Gentiles) did not use the land wisely and did not keep the commandments, the Lord would use this Lamanite remnant to scourge us. Mormon 5:24 states:

"Therefore, repent ye, and humble yourselves before him, lest he shall come out in justice against you - lest a remnant of the seed of Jacob (another designation for the Lamanites) shall go forth among you as a lion, and tear you to pieces, and there is none to deliver."

These "lions" currently are going forth among us - will they suddenly turn and tear us to pieces? We've certainly not kept commandments. We were never commanded to murder 40 million unborn babies during the past 30 years - a REAL Holocaust. We were never commanded to turn our entertainment industry into a cesspool that sexualizes our kids as soon as they're old enough to walk. We were never commanded to allow Jewish lobbies to use our court system to purge the public square of any and all traces of Christianity, while allowing Jews and Muslims to display their symbols. We were commanded not to do any of those things, yet we have, and now we're paying the price.

George Washington's Vision and Prophecy for America records a vision which our first president once had. He foresaw three great perils for America; the first, the Revolutionary War, the second, the War Between The States, and finally, another war where the nations of the world would unit and attempt to invade and conquer us. He foresaw that we would overcome the last peril, even as we overcame the first two. What's interesting is that he did not see World Wars I and II as perils; this gives creedence to the idea that maybe we shouldn't have become involved in either one.

Finally, the first Mormon prophet Joseph Smith envisioned America's future. On June 19, 1844, he confided this vision to Mosiah Hancock, who recorded it in his diary. This is included on page 10 of Duane Crowther's book "Prophecy: Key To The Future". Here's an excerpt:

"There will be two great political parties in this country. One will be called the Republican, and the other the Democrat party. These two parties will go to war and out of these two parties will spring another party which will be the Independent American Party."

Let's stop and discuss this excerpt. In 1844, the two major parties were the Democrat-Republicans and the Whigs. One would not need to be a Dick Morris to conclude that the Democrat-Republicans would split up in the future, as they did in 1856. But the Whig Party was strong and viable; there was no cause to foresee its demise. There is currently a minor party called the Independent American Party, which has run candidates unsuccessfully in a few Western states. George Wallace's movement doesn't qualify; it was called the American Independent Party, and Joseph Smith was quite specific with names. He wasn't another Sylvia Browne.

Here's one more pertinent excerpt from Joseph Smith's prediction:

"The United States will spend its strength and means warring in foreign lands until other nations shall say 'Let's divide up the lands of the United States'..."

He goes on to foresee a success conclusion, but only after we take a pasting. Now while the United States has frequently gone to war in the past, we emerged from our earlier wars stronger in all respects. This trend began to reverse itself after the Korean War, when we played for the tie. Every successive war thereafter has continually drained our strength and means, and we've not fully recovered each time. The war in Iraq, combined with ill-advised tax cuts for the rich, transformed annual surpluses into annual deficits as far as the eye can see and has jacked up our national debt to over $8.0 trillion. Our repeated wars, economic predation, and cultural pollution continues to progressively inflame the entire Third World against us by degrees. So I believe Joseph Smith was referring more specifically to the period after the Korean War. The large number of illegal immigrants, as well as some legals, could easily serve as fifth columnists facilitating a combined foreign invasion of our country. Such an invasion would be preceded by a biological, chemical, or nuclear attack of some type designed to decapitate us adminstratively and economically in order to soften us up and kill our technological advantage.

I don't recommend we immediately head for the hills based on ancient prophecies, but if people who lived 150-200 years ago or even 1,600 years ago could foresee the outcome of our current immigration policies, why is it that our leaders and representatives alive today, with the exception of the occasional Tom Tancredo, are so blind. Wake up, America!

  1. Regarding the American Independent Party it is interesting to see that the party is gaining strength nation wide, but not directly under the name of American Independent Party. This is the party name in California and in Nevada. Elsewhere the party is known as the Constitution Party.
